Well I'm gunna try the two stroke install method, I dont trust the normal install method with these paper thin oil rails.

Tiny I took your tip and give them a twist and they move feely, cheers mate.

Gunna be a big night, ::) ;D

And I thought I was the only one that needed one of those. I am so used to wearing my head band magnifiers that I have gone to the store with them still on my head. Get some strange looks. ::)

In Oz dollars, sometimes same as yours,  sometimes .85 cent Oz to your US $1.00
32mm chokes are $30.00 each
Emulsion tubes  $14.50 each
Main jets $6.00 each
Air corrector jets $5.50 each
Idle jets $6.00 each

Sounds cheap but x 4 adds up ;D

well, finally got the barrels on,   I wouldnt recomend trying the alternate method I used , that is load the pistons into the barrels with 1 circlip and gudgens in etc then lower onto rods , do 23 first then 14.
It was a pain in the ar#e,    rings popping out need 4 hands etc etc , stick to the normal way :(

I was wondering how much fun you were going to have fitting the barrel.
In my case, the 'rods are fitted, then then the crank, caps torqued, lower crankcase 1/2 fitted (the floppy gear selector forks are a pain)

Congrats on making it so far in these less than enjoyable conditions Johnno

Johno...are you going to be riding at the Bub Speedtrials this year?...or another event out there at the Salt Flats?

Just curious..there was a guy out there on a CB750 last year,i think he went 120+ or something..its funny, you go out there thinking you will sorta of *watch* what the other guys are doing, but find yourself so wrapped up in your own stuff and your friends, you just forget...till you get back home and the months go by and you read forums like this,or see pictures elsewhere, and think*oh yeah i remember seeing that guy*
ha ha

Scrambler, well,we shall see you out there, the 360 will return, dunno what Bob has in store,i hooked him up with a ZX12R..he went 174mph..not bad for his first time out there..lol

sorry to interupt Johno,i like your bike...keep in mind there Bonneville is at 4000+ feet so tune accordingly..

Youre going to dig it man..its so much F!!!!!g fun

Joe.........Johno will be running in Australia in a few weeks..............He's a day or two behind schedule ;) ;)

2 CB750s ran...............one was in RWYB and did 125........He is a shy forum member from Toronto. The other was the red unit...........they had runs at 120 and 130 but I don't think they tore the motor down for a record.

My hope is that Johno's bike will go better than 150.................with an altitude advantage.
