Well, I burnt the midnight oil a couple nights and I got back to where I left off and then some. Carbs and exhaust now installed. Tear and down and reassembly went way faster than I imagined (Third time to take this bike apart). Although, it's still a lot of work or so it seems and I was afraid to dinging the paint here and there.
I bit the bullet and went with Yamiya "no numbers". Those no-no's are Yes-Yes!!. I like em. Easy peasy install.
I had rebuilt my carbs 3 years ago and there's only 300 miles on them. New o-rings, any rubber- ie gaskets, air idle springs, New jet needle and seat, float jet.. all Honda OEM. This time, I dropped the jet needle clip one notch, replaced the 110 main jet with 115's but left the slow jet at 40. Cleaned with Honda's own carb clean. We'll see how this goes.
Now, I've got a signal light, head light wiring issue to figure out.... but firing this has to wait until Monday
