Is it possible to get a video of the bike running with the exhaust set up as it is? I watched your first start up but the muffler wasn't on.

I just bought my first SOHC and I've worked on some small Honda Twins so I know just enough to know that I don't know very much about all these dang 4-cylinder stuff...

First thing I did after getting the bike out of the back of the truck (kinda scary) was plop down on the couch and look up "CB750" into YouTube. I don't know if you know this, your videos where at the top of the list! After Jay Leno of course.

So I started watching them and I thought to myself, "gee, he's kinda long winded but at least the video and audio is good... Hey these video's are a really great resource!! This is going to be awesooooome!!"

So thank you, cause these videos ARE a great resource.

Dino,

I just picked up the same 1973 CB750 that you work on in your video's.  Currently tearing it down and waiting for parts. 

The PO had extended front fork tubes and a lowering kit installed....And check out the seat!

I am very interested in buying the DVD when it becomes available.

Yes I am.

Apparently the PO's brother was the one who originally bought the bike and put 6,200 miles on the first year.  He went out to the west coast with the bike and that is where he decided to make it a 'Chopper'.  The bike last ran in 1984.

I eft the King / Queen seat with the Previous Owner because he wanted it as a Keep Sake... go figure.

The bike is actually in very good shape... I just finished rebuilding the carbs to day.  Will try and start it after golf tomorrow.  Stay Tuned.

Dino, been watchING all your videos. Freaking awesome job. I'm so ready to get this k1 rebuild started! Shes been sittin fo 40 years with no love...My basket is definitely better shape than how you got yours, I got all the original parts where they belong and not scattered to the four winds. So now I gotta redefine basket case. As soon as I hit MY 5 posts I'll be starting a similar project thread. Thanks for hope n inspiration

Hey Dino I just donated to your blog! I found your youtube vids even before I found the SOHC community. I'm a visual learner so they've been my go to and really helped me understand the bike more. Thanks for all the work you put in to help us all out! 

.....p.s. what is the part number of the silicone lube and dyna electric grease you're always using? I went into my local parts store to find some and the only thing they had was some White Lightning grease.

A beautiful resto, and I definitely love the original paint - But it's hardly a "hack", is it? More like paint-by-number. Just sayin' - after your Sabre project I'd come to expect something radical!
