Wow. What a bunch of beautiful machines! I want to thank you for the nomination, but I'm reluctantly going to have to withdraw my bike from consideration due to the fact that it's not actually running at the moment and, in fact, is in pieces as we speak. I've had some problems with the tank and a few other areas, so in a sense the bike pictured above no longer exists.

I urge everyone voting here to choose among the rest of these incredible bikes. I know from experience just how much work goes into bringing them up to the standard demonstrated here; I know I'll have a tough time choosing my favorite.

Thanks again for the nomination. Like they say, it's an honor just to be considered.

Under Bike of the Month Rule No. 8 provides the following qualification: "If the motorcycle is a rebuild or restoration, it must be at the completed stage and RUNNING."  SohRon's bike was completed and running as of the time he qualified for BOTM January 2015.  There is no express requirement that the bike remain in a running state to qualify for BOTY.  Rather the BOTY candidates are comprised of the BOTM winners from January through November.

I can understand that the bike is undergoing some repair and evolution -- as almost all of the bikes do.  These bikes are rarely "finished" and certain issues may keep them from running at times.  Note: bikes do not even need to still be in the possession of the member once they have been nominated, seconded and accepted.

SohRon's bike fairly qualifies as a candidate for BOTY; it is also sets an extremely high standard for a concourse restoration CB550.  I understand if he does not want to actively campaign for votes, but I am not inclined to pull it voting (which is already underway).  (Sorry, buddy.)

Andy750 has done a calendar of members bikes the last couple years.

This will be a tough decision!

Is Rafi's K2 the gold colour? It almost looks orange, but now that I think of it, my gold CB350 looked a bit orange
All the same, the K2 is gorgeous!!!

@Johnie, @Justin, thanks for the kind words guys, wouldn't have happened without the forum.

The color is Candy Gold Custom (K2) which is slightly different than the K1 and earlier Candy Gold as can been seen on the gorgeous K1 GT by Tige 8).

I did check out the link on your sig, and I remember commenting shortly after that post. Well done, Raf. Thanks for the details on the colour, as I'm so far away from paint for my K1, I haven't looked into original colours much, but I really dig that gold on your bike and Tige's too. I have several tanks now for my two 750s and I may end up doin a few colours just to have interchange options.  ;)

Voted, but I wish I had 11 more votes. Job well done, everybody! You have inspired MANY with their builds or future builds. Congratulations!

Dang boys!   Had to come back 3 times to make up my mind.
Darn near impossible to vote for just one.  Well done and kuddos to everyone
Yep, I'm the kid that figured out how to put things back together...eventually.

Wow, that's a lot of beautiful restorations this time around. I can't decide! Can I vote for four of them?  ;D

I'd prefer to vote for all of them on a scale from 1-10,and they're all above 8  8)
75' CB400F/'bunch o' parts' & 81' CB125S modded to a 'CB200S'

I'm going to see if the whiz kid down the street can hack this thread and vote for all of them.

Fantastic, just fantastic. All winners, no losers.
