So I've been really busy at work, so I have been day.  dreaming looking at local classifieds, picked up this bike, not running, but according to P.O. It was running last time it was on road in 1989. Pipes are completely gone but I think it was worth the $270 bucks buddy let it go for...what do you guys think?

Ya Frank it's a 73, there is nothing in tank, have to clean it up and get a right controler, accelerator tube and both cables, still has a clutch cable that works. Needs battery, im assuming carbs cleaned, gonna keep plugging away at the K0, put this one on backburner for now, just coudnt ignore it for the price. Maybe this will be my Cafe project.

From what I see in the pictures ....a steal at $270 with title. Are the pipes shot on the left side by the wheel? That's where mine were blown out back in 2000 when I got it.

It's highway robbery with a title.  You could part it out for much more, but since it's titled, bring it back!

Oh ya Mr Breeze, pipes are completely gone, after th curves they are all shot. That's what sparked my interest to begin with, then guy dropped price 3 times so I went for it. Tank is actually in better shape than my K0 tank, so that's a bonus.

Great pickup mate, well done! I bought a Japanese market K3 a few years ago, and once again, the pipes were so rotten they fell apart while I was going through the process of removing them, I wish I'd kept the downpipes because they were in really good condition, but the mufflers were pretty much held together by the chrome plating. What a great price, seriously, you'd pay 10 times that much for one like that in Oz. Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Terry what are the use for the down pipes, can I buy just some after market mufflers for them? I think a cafe with 4 tips would look awesome, cheers, Fred.

There are a few options out there mate, like Frank I've got some slip on 4 into 2 pipes on stock headers, or of course you could make your own custom pipes too. I cobbled together one set of HM341's on a K2 I restored, I'd bought a set with 2 damaged headers, so I cut them off where they were welded to the mufflers, and welded in some good headers that I'd chopped off some rotten mufflers. Honda recycling? Cheers, Terry. ;D

Not a bad rattle can job. You could even get it smoother with a color sand and clear.
