Bikes are ready and so……

John, what's your outside ambient temps today?
I hope you get sunlight.

Just above freezing, most of the snow is gone. Rain for the weekend…..

This is 3 mornings in a row of white. The past 2 we have had warm enough that the roads were not salted. Hopefully they won't this morning......

My little town is @ 400' above the valley floor so we get a bit more than the surrounding towns.
Andy S is coming up from Boston for lunch and bringing some parts to sell, he got all rain.

We ended up getting 6" total.

Today the snow is gone except for the snow banks from plowing and it is currently 64°F 🙃 67°F forecasted later

Not that is a WOW Scott! In Arizona no less.
We had 77° F yesterday and today is going to be back down to normal temps of 55°- 60° and tonight into the high 30°s and then hack into the mid 60s Tuesday. Hang onto yer hats. Not quite as big of swings this week.

We hit 80(F) Friday, then snow started. We got about 8" in the yard despite it melting at the same time, snowing and 38 degrees. Today it's all gone.

We're under a tornado warning, I think whatever it is just blew through. Man was it loud and windy. It calmed after a minute or so. In the morning the golf cart is going out back so the truck can fit in the garage. I have the race car body off so the cart can't fit in there right now.

Toilet barometer report: the water in both toilets is now 2" lower than it was before the wind blew through.

Thanks, we battened down the hatches, but the neighbor's maple tree dropped branches on the top of the race trailer. One of them made it to the shop door. No damage that needs fixed, but the one-piece trailer roof has a few dings in it now. I'm glad I bought it that way, no seams to leak and the rivets are on a flange outboard of the walls.
She paid a tree trimmer $900 last summer but he cut out lower branches not the ones that hang over my property. It looks like I'm going to do that part.

The water in the toilets lowering seems like what might happen in float bowls without vent hoses going to calm air.

There was a difference between the inside the house air pressure and the vent system of the house drain for sure.
Late last night I went out to find two tree limbs from my neighbors' tree on top of my car trailer. One was against the garage door also. There are dents in the trailer roof but no holes. I spent the whole day cutting up branches and packing them into three garbage cans for pick-up. We can't burn in town anymore.
I noticed a lot of junk in the house gutters so I cleaned them and mowed for the first time. Walnut tree twigs are the worst. Leaves can wash away but the twigs bridge across any drain edge.

Our weather in central NC has turned rather nice recently, but already having thunderstorms.

Today had 2 ripper thunderstorms come through, about 1" of rain in 1.5 hours, and 2 hail storms, now the sun is shining...
