Nope, don’t need it any time soon. You can hold on to it until you get the motor running to make sure it’s all good if you want.

Sorry to hear you've been having trouble with the ignition. Curious did you use suppression core spark plug wires with the new coils, or have to change to spark plugs /resistor values from stock?

The C5 ignition comes with its own wires and coils. We are still trying to figure out and diagnose the issue as of now, but all signs are seem to be pointing to ignition related. This could just be a design flaw with the bike itself and is causing the issue Dave and I have encountered. We need more testing to really pin point the problem.
Ive been riding the hell out of this bike and have only had this issue once.

Update.
Tons more seat time no issue at all. Ambient riding temps below 80 degrees. Oil cooler parts have arrived and I’ll be venting the cover on install.

Have you been riding with the cover off? I added Buffalo to my weather app, haha, and it says next week will be in the 90’s and sunny for you. That would be a good day to test the cover being off.

Good that it’s working well, but I still hope with the cover on in the heat it stalls out.

If it were the coils a heat pipe type cooler might work if you vented air to the coils.  But if it were the coils, then better solution is more condition tolerant coils.

Makes it frustrating to have spent good money and need to help figure out the cause for the problems with the unit.  Guess that comes with being a pioneer of a new unit, can't be afraid of a few arrows.

Do any tests with the ignition cover off yet?
