I know exactly what you mean mate. There was also the time when a mate and i decided to take his cousin out fishing and he threw the anchor out without connecting it to anything....

No more anchor, or the time we pulled up on an island to let a heap of rain out of the boat and my mate lost the bung....

Couldn't stop at all on the way home that time or we'd have sunk....

I have had some of the best, worst and funniest times of my life on the water....

A good tip, always keep a couple of old wine bottle corks in the tool kit.......brilliant for leaks....
