I am passing this on to all of you because it definitely worked for me today, and we all could probably use more calm in our lives. Some doctor on TV this morning said the way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started.

So I looked around my place to see what things I'd started and hadn't finished. So far I have managed to finish off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Chardonnay, a bodle of Baileys, a butle of wum, a pockage of Prungles, tha mainder of bot Prozic and Valiuminun scriptins, the res of the chesescke, an a box a chocletz. Yu haf no idr how bludy fablus I feel rite now. Plaese sned dhis orn to dem yu fee ar in ned ov iennr pisss. An telum,u blody luvum.!! Xxx

6 PM as I type this, spent 5 hours mowing, weed wacking, pruning, trimming, shovelling, sweeping and blowing in 90 deg F weather.

I love Christmas, and all this effort is to clean the place up for a Christmas Eve BBQ tomorrow night. I've just had a shower, and am in the process of re-hydrating myself with scotch and coke. Life doesn't get much better than this! Merry Christmas, to all my alcoholic friends around the globe! Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Here's a tip, don't eat at least 6 of your mother's home made sugar laced butter tarts and then drink a LOT of red wine, you will be awake all night with your heart rate way up there.  ;D  Cliff.

I can't believe that the last post in 2012 was Scunny on January the 20th? Unbelievable! OK, yesterday it was over 100 degrees in my steel garage, so by 4 pm I was seriously dehydrated.

I had to go pick up a new battery for my Goldwing project, so I did that, then drove over to the RSL for a couple of pints of Bulmers cider. Delicious, but I downed them both in less than 20 minutes, so I had to go home before I was over the limit.

I got home and suggested to the wife that we go out for dinner. (she doesn't drink, so she was the "designated Driver") We like our local "TGI Fridays", and while we were waiting for a table, we sat up at the bar, and I had pint #3. We were seated after 10 or 15 minutes, so I ordered pint #4 to go with the entree.

Mid way thru the main course I decided that I could go one more, so pint #5 made it's way across to the table. By this stage, my face was starting to slide into my plate, and I have to talk louder so I can hear myself over the din of the other diners. My wife asks me to quieten down. Fair enough, I can take a hint.

We get home and the cool change has come thru which is nice, so I pour myself a Rum and Coke to celebrate. Mmmmnn, that went down well, so I poured myself another. I watched the start of "Ghosthunters International", and woke up to read the end credits, so I drained my glass and wobbled off to bed. All in all, a great day, made that much nicer by the excessive consumption of alcohol, what a wonderful drug! Cheers, Terry. ;D
