Hello from Orange County, CA. I just picked up my 73 CB750-K3 a few months ago. A little snotty, but all original. I'm relacing the wheels so she'll be safe on the road. This is a bike I've wanted since I was 13 years old and my neighbor in Michigan had a brand new one.

Finally I've got 'round to posting a few pics onto photobucket. Hope this works. They're all "before" shots of my CB750 K2 1972. 29,000 miles. I'm the second owner.

Thanks Grizz. I hate to disappoint you but neither the bike nor the shed look that pristine any more. After spilling engine oil, fork oil and hydraulic jack oil the floor looks a definite darker shade of brown. The bike was in small enough bits to fit onto one hand but is steadily being rebuilt. I've had all the neccessary bits blasted, coated, painted and polished and now am saving up some money to do an extensive engine rebuild.

1975 CB750K5 with 15,155 mile on it.  Needs a head gasket replacement so I'll be doing some maintenance before I ride much.

This is my second Honda, I had a 1976 CJ360T when I was in high school/college.

Now I'm back at it.

Welcome Bike

Don't forget to post some pics of your K5.

Good luck with the head gasket.

Rhos you should see my workbench. It came from the science lab of an old school that was knocked down years ago. So god knows whats been spilt on it, it certainly looks battle scarred. I've added to it, same as you engine oil, fork oil and soldering burn marks etc.

I always think thats one of the nicest parts of a rebuild when all those polished, coated, painted bits start to go back together again and I do understand what you mean about engine rebuilds and money!!!

Hope you will post some pics of the rebuild.

Cheers

Grizzly

Nice bike mrbreeze.

Are you guy's ok to run without chainguard or front mudguard? I think it looks the business!

In the UK the boy's in blue (Police Officers) tend to take a dim view though.

I just got a Black 1977 750K (bone stock) with approx 36K miles on it.

I have a 1973 750K on the way (getting shipped).

The '73 is pretty worn; I'm thinking of converting it to a Cafe and keeping the '77 stock.

It's good to see the law is a little more relaxed where you are. Over here they will literally write you up if your numberplate is too small.

My '74. Given to me free. First pic is after a year of nickel and diming it onto the road.

Then in April of '04 I had an accidental customization experience. (Pic 2)

Now cafe transformation is under way (Pic 3)
EDIT: see more current pics in Projects thread

Not sure about bug year. Belonged to someone else and now is gone.

Previous owner read all the right magazines, purchased the fancy parts and did the paint, then gave up from lack of mechanical wisdom and sold it to me for nothing...

Just under 50k, but well taken care of by the one previous owner
It's my first bike, so I'm pretty pumped.

That is one hot looking bike!
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.
