Is it bad that I feel I must justify my choice?
FunJimmy's bike is just AWESOME-KICK-ASS!!! I love the work, the styling, the engineering, the whole bike. It is just an awesome little cafe job.
markb's Stocker is just so cool, too. My dad and I have a project of a 1932 Studebaker that we pulled out of the woods. The plan was for a hotrod but we were starting to feel bad about hotroding it out because it was actually in pretty nice shape. We started feeling better when we found little things that would have impeded a restoration - so I have a great respect for the classics.
Johnny5's
The etching in and of itself almost does it for me. Once again, just nice and clean and styled just right. I'm building a 750 myself, so there's a little bit of a soft spot here, too.
Aussie:
I own a Ducati. I love the Paul Smart tribute. I love this bike. Don't know that I particularly care for the dash but that would be about the only thing I don't like here.
BobbyMagee:
As you all know I am a cafe guy. I find choppers to be a bit overdone and, quite frankly, getting to be common place. You don't see a cafed bike everywhere you go, but there is bound to a chopper/bobber somewhere around. WITH THAT SAID, I can still appreciate great work, which is what this little chopper represents. This is a sweet, clean, elegant little hard tail and you can tell that it is quality work. Well done, Bobby. This is one chopper that I would not mind having in my garage.
So after thinking all that, I just couldn't decide, so I asked my wife. She said, "I like the Green one."
And that is how Markb got my vote.
By the way, if the four who do not win this month's contest do not get nominated by someone else, look for my nomination. I only dream that my bike will come out looking as nice when I am done with it.
