The 750 is officially just sitting in the frame. Now I just need to find a sucker....friend to help me get it out.

Also got the head off the 450 since my dremel came in today. Think this could be why it wasn't running?

I've just about finished rebuilding Mike's K2 engine. Is it just me, or is a black engine kinda........... sexy? ;D

Does look good in Black, I think I'll paint my next one that color. What about the engine side covers?

Thanks Steve, the engine covers will be the shiney polished ones I slaved over in 100 deg F heat on Thursday. (never again................) ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

No,  it is a built in decompression release ::)    That must have been running real hot to melt a hole like that or did you buy it as a non-runner?...Larry

Today I started my bike just to hear it run. I thought about fiddling with it, but I'm not allowed to fiddle till I have brakes.

Finished Mike's engine, just in time for Christmas. I feel a bit like Santa, but there's no way I'm sticking this heavy baastard under his tree! Cheers, Terry. ;D

Looks good Terry.

I got some valves faced and pick up some valve seat cutters, blasted a head, now I have to polish the ports, cut the valve seats and assemble ready for installation.

The planet blue is a great color, I need to find the correct front fender for mine and I`ll be happy with it.

DHL just called me to check if I'm home. Shipment from US, new Kibble White HD cyl studs and Falicon Cam sprocket. Both to replace the existing parts of other well known brand that had quality issues.
I must replace to sleep well.

Waiting for another DHL package from Germany with new torque wrenches to be sure to torque correct. they have +/- 4% which will be max 0.8Nm, more or less. 2% tolerance tools way too expensive.

3:rd DHL package also from Germany with the parts missing on my new Yamiya tank and side covers.... Santa is busy this year... ::)

More disassembly, clutch is out. Trying to figure out how to get the points plate off so I can split the case today. The three screws on the points plate are jammed and one is fully stripped. Please advise in my build thread in my sig :)
