Bought 3 - CB750's last week. 2-K2's and a K5.Of course one of the K2's had a Vetter on it that I removed. The other one has a nice 2 disc set up on the front, oil gauge, oil cooler,Dyna, hex bolt kit etc.,would be nice to find a little something extra in the engine.Anyways worked on getting them stripped down to do the major tune-ups and see if we can get some 'Fire in the Hole'. Anybody wanna come to a major carb cleaning party--Ugg-3 sets  :'(          Eric

It feels that way sometimes but nope ,I am just your old fashioned Hoarder.Thats my backroom/work area with a mix of Honda's, Kaws and Suzuki triples etc. Here is a shot of the front room with a few better 750's for the picture people.

Eric, send me an airline ticket and I'm there. I've just done several sets of carbs and good at cleaning bikes too. Just feed me pizza and beer and I'm a happy cleaner.
It will have to be after my first grandchild is born if you can wait a week or so. ;D

Dangit Eric!  Save some 750's for the rest of us!!  I don't know how you have the time to be fixing up all those bikes what with coaching an NFL team and all!

Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

Slapped the recently sourced airbox on to the K8 750...... new filter too. want to ride it down the road ( for the first time ) but it's dark, cold and wet when I finish prepping it  :(. Maybe tomorrow !

Spent money on it. I'll have my new TinTop air filtration system paid for by Christmas. Got my Frankencover I ordered earlier in the week. Got a nice tail bag off Craigslist last weekend. It's just a little bit. Every week. It's not a habit...seriously..I could quit anytime I want...it's just so..addicting..and I'd just be spending that money on something else anyway..
like lowers for my Vetter..
or tapered headstock bearings..
or parts for my Virago..
but I could quit if I wanted..

With the cold weather really starting to hit here now, sad to say I pulled the battery and moved it inside for the winter. Going to drain the bowls later tonight and back on the center stand it goes for now. It sits in my garage but I will get my bike cover back out and put the blanket on her now.

Carb clean on the ex500, runs like a bat outa hell again.  Forgot how loud those Sarachus are!

Moving on to the cb350f tune up.  At some point I'll have to deal with the un-tensionable cam chain.  Kinda sounds like a dry clutch... Kinda  :-\

Spent more than half a day working on the 500.  Oil/filter change.  Wrestled with the center stand for half an hour before I finally got it off.  Installed the header for the Yoshi pipe.  Tried to re install the coils before it got dark, but failed.

One thing I have learned in life is that failure is not final.  Tomorrow is another day.

Laced my new rims and spokes to my CB450 front hub.  The rear has to wait as I messed up on the bearing order and got the wrong ones, I am human after all  ::)
