The U.S. got the gold in the 4 man bobsled.  First time in 62 years, that was cool.

Absolutely. Did you see the film from their last gold in 1948? The track they ran on was a natural track. Something you make with your kids and their sleds. The pride those guys felt on the medal podium was visible.

Well I hear that internationally the games were not received very well....actually according to some it was the worst ever. Well I may be biased but I think considering the weather challenges and the ominous start....all in all we pulled it off! Congrats VanOc, the people of Vancover and Whistler, and to CTV for pulling off a huge feat and for making me continue to be a very proud Canadian!!

Congratulations Team Canada. Good thing you have Sidney Crosby. Hopefully he won't hear all the negative crap from opposing teams in Canada anymore.

I'll give him a pass since he led the Pens to the Cup last year.  ;)  Great game. Can't wait for the season to restart up on Tuesday.

There are always complainers when the games are not in the U.S. or Europe.  Granted I am not a hardcore fan but what I saw was great.  You can't control the weather.  The fact that Canada (a small country population wise) pulled it off and led in the gold medal count deserves congratulations.

+1

I think, all things considered, they seem to have been well received and justifiably so. Good job! My wife and I probably watched more winter games this year than any year in the past, so that says something.  ;) I'm even getting to like curling.  ;D
