I forget what the name of that structure is but man its cool. Hand made and then imported and assembled by the designer. It really is a work of art.

WOW!!  Amazing video.  The color is eye-popping.  Love it.  The glare off the bike in the first "scene" almost looks like the bike has been CGI'd into the shot.  Obviously not.  ;)

Are you using any type of attachment in case it comes loose?

What editing software? That is my weakness as I'm electronic dumb  :o

Have you guys used the alternate GoPro back cover that has the 2 open sections in lieu of an external mic? My kit is the Outdoors Kit and came with the extra back.

I got about 12 minutes out of a 2gb card on the Tail of the Dragon. Not long enough to pick up the crash however. I picked up the Chestie mount and had it mounted upside down somehow. At least I can turn my laptop upside down! I got a good shot of my tank speedo  >:( and the double yellow line always to my left.

Jerry.  Yes I want to get the bike on the 1/4 mile.  Around town it is just to hard to find a spot to really open her up.

The external mic really helps to cut down all the wind noise, that is near impossible to get rid of on a motorcycle.  I have the mic mounted under the left side cover. (good old duct tape)  For the forward angles the camera is mounted to the tank using the suction mount.  For the rear shots I have the camera mounted on the right side cover, using the suction adapter again.  I have the camera tethered with a lanyard in case it comes lose.

For editing software I am now using Adobe premier elements 11 (Mac compatible)  am happy with this software so far and easy has a "quick movie" button that will take all your loaded media and make the movie for you.  Branden has been using Corel VideoStudio X6 (PC) and seems to be happy.

Now while your laid up would be a great time to get some practice with what ever editing software you choose. Just play around with it...(the software) ;)

Nice job on the clip Tige. I've read that the Sony mics are really good quality and it seems to capture very well.

Jerry, lots of us mount the cameras upside down. The record orientation can be changed in the GoPro settings or you can flip the video on your computer using Cineform from GoPro later.

Thanks Jim, the GoPro makes going on solo rised a bit more fun.  Between the three of us we should be able to get some great video when we meet up.  Just need to find an easy way to send raw files to you, since you are the video editing master... ;)

How big can the file be on dropbox? They can be used as file sharing or just a sync method for tablets and home computers...would imagine video files could be shared as well.

I know you now have the Kerker on your bike, but how did the Yamiya exhaust attach to the bike for support? I'm thinking about buying the same exact exhaust as you did for my 1978 Honda cb750f and I couldn't see how it actually was supported. Do you have any pics of that?

Tweakin can confirm, but most of the 4-1 Yosh replica exhausts (Carpy, Yamiya BUT NOT Kerker) are self supporting from the connection to the engine head exhaust port up front.  The pipe itself does not weigh a significant amount.
