How about a TZ750 style frame with a Water Buffalo, there are 3 engines sitting there. ;) :)
Interesting, but I couldn't live with myself running a 2-smoke, and I don't like the look of LC engines.

See what a fussy bastard I am?  ;)  But this thread is about YOUR dream bike, not mine.  BTW - does he do titanium?  I'm guessing not, that stuff's a pain to work...

Anyhow, enjoy your time in the shop this winter, I'll fire up the Duke for a ride to Bolton once it warms up again, and the beers are absolutely on me.

FWIW, I'm not a shill for Race Tech - I've just got a thing for good suspension and the RTCE's are the most cost-effective mod for these old damping rod front ends.

Looking forward to getting together for a ride with the GTA SOHC4 gang next spring. :)

Byron is the welder, I'll ask him about Ti, but that stuff requires very deep pockets. ;) ;D  As for a frame for your Suzuki engine, just tell him what type you want (eg TZ / Rickman / Egli ;) / Martin / Seely), and supply an engine.  Oh, and a few $'s. ;) :)

It's only about an hour+ from Brock Rd & 401 to Trenton.  So any time you would like to come down, just let me know.  Right now I usually go down on Saturdays.

I have been spending most of my time finishing off my 550 cafe.  However the 750K3 frame is ready to be power washed, and then it's time to get in the 'build line'.  So only a small step forward, but progress.

On an other note.  The pictures of my 350/4 in the Drixton frame, has led to some orders.  Maybe a Drixton 350/4 street bike should go back on the list. ;) :)

Sorry, wait, what?  Back up a step here.

You have a 350/4?

And Denis stuck it into a Drixton frame?

And there are pictures?  :o

Where are they?  Did I manage to miss 'em somehow?  ???

They were posted in a High Performance thread Syscrush, but just for you here they are. ;) :)  As you can see some dismantling was required to get it in the 1st time.  The only change to the original design will be to change the bend postition of the two upper frame tubes (at the cam).  Slightly higher, and a bit wider.

Denis now has two confirmed, and one pending order.

What motor was that frame originally designed to hold?  I imagine a twin of some sort?

Originally it was designed for the Honda 350/450/500 twins.  Denis has also built a couple for the Yamaha 650 twin.  For that application, because of the tall engine, there is a cavity in the bottom of the tank. ;)

The 350 was on the list of projects.  Still thinking a 350/4 Drixton street bike would make a nice bit of kit, as they say.

WOW another thread!! this bike has to be the best kept secret....when the frames are available I'll have to dig a little deeper.I have another 550 motor that needs a home ;D. I met Robbie 2-3 times back in the Rocket days, my bro hung around there with those guys. How is Robbie? does he still have that eddy replica?

Robbie is still Robbie, Rocket is still at the old location, and the Kawi is in the 'showroom'.

The frame build will start to move forward very shortly, and I'll post lots of pictures then.  I have been concentrating on finishing my 550 cafe, and Denis has been busy filling orders.  A client in Oz ordered an H2R frame, then turned around and also ordered a TZ750 one. :o  So that set things back a bit. ;)

They say we are in for a very cold winter this year.  I wonder if I could declare a frame as 'carry on'? ;) ;D

Thanks.  Unfortunately Denis has had to have a minor operation, so things are on hold for a couple of weeks.

The rims I have for it are the same size as used.  The originals were 18" TZ750 DID's.  I am using an Akront 'Red Label' WM3 (2.15") on the front, and a NOS Akront 'Green Label' WM6 (3.5") on the rear.  The hubs are SOHC 750, the rear being a drilled F disk setup.  The front wheel I have is complete, with black powder coated Buchanan SS spokes.  However both the hub and rim need refinishing, so it will come apart at some point.  The rear assembly is already polished, just needs new bearings, and the disk is ready.  The MC & caliper are in good condition, but will get rebuild kits.  The rim is as new, never been mounted, just need to order the spokes.  If I can get the front apart without damaging the powder coat, I'll do the rears to match.  Otherwise I'll strip the fronts and go with plain SS f / r.
