It all worked before the flood. It doesn't have a key so I hot wired it to get it to turn over. The electronic ignition worked and the bike ran before. I haven't even checked to see if anything still works. I guess if you bring a live battery we could see if it still has hope?

Very nice! I have a feeling there will be a lot more people this month.

Agreed. I put and ad up on Craigslist, and made mention to RSVP.

I saw the RSVP. Good idea. I'm thinking about printing a bunch of copies of your newest flier and ride around looking for old bikes. Just stick fliers on bikes around town. Only the cool ones, of course.  :P

I'm not sure if I'm going to make it. I really want to, but I may be going canoing for a friends birthday. I won't know for sure until later in the week.

I'm hoping that the rivers will still be too high for everyone to want to go so I'll be able to make the breakfast club. If not I'll have a lot of fun canoing. I love it when the water is up! There's also a skateboarding event going on Sat. evening that I'd like to go to. Why do my friends have birthdays when I already have things planned? ;) Hopefully I'll know for sure by Wed.

My wife, being the practical person she is pointed out that the farmers market is on saturday on the square so there is a very good chance that Gaylords will be swamped.  I am still game though and I know that you posted Gaylords as the location on your CL ad.

Riiiiiiight. I forgot about that. It will definitely be packed! Think we should try to change it to the Rolling Pin, or something else? We can try to go to Gaylords anyway if everyone wants to, or just meet there.

Let's change it. I haven't had anyone RSVP yet, so no worries. If they show up, at least they can also pick up a squash or two. I can put up an edited flyer just in case.

I will eat at the rolling pin but its almost at the bottom of my list. I had horrible service the last two times i ate there. I think they are harley centric. Ricks iron skillet is right down the hill from gaylords. Good s ???ervice and good food.

Will someone bring a wheelbarrow to roll my fat ass outta there after I eat too much at the buffet? I always try not to eat too much, but I always do. It looks like I'll be in town because the river will be too high for my drunken crew.  :o

We may have to get there by raft anyways. Anyone care to loan a canoe or vessel of some sort?

Flyer has been updated btw.

Did your wife tell you that one of the two better be her bike? ;)

So, are we planning on a ride out around Devils Den after breakfast? (weather permitting) I was talking to my wife about going for a ride with everyone after breakfast then seeing if anyone would feel like grilling with us at our house after the ride. Sound like something you guys would be interested in, or should we just shoot for a ride/grilling another weekend?

i am good for a ride. we will have to be careful. with all the rain there will be a lot of gravel washed out onto the roads. after that I have some plans but that should only last an hour or two. I will have ot consult the wife.

Count me in for breakfast, ride, and grilling on your big deck. I got the KZ running, but not officially street legal yet. I'll be rolling on something a bit more modern, but at least I'll be riding.

Ok, I made it home. I know you guys were probably not able to sleep last night worrying about me. Turns out the left carb was full of what looked like peach jello. I did not taste it so I will just have to assume that was the flavor. Found this after replacing the point and condensor and resetting the timing which is still off, but its rideable now. I think the fuel is eating the float. anyway, guess I should have pulled the bowls first.

If anyone wants to go for a weekend / saturday ride let me know. I need to start putting some miles on my bikes before the 3 day super extravaganza.
