Billy, you got me beat my friend. I decided to slow down and not be in a hurry to screw up on my project bike. I had 3 races left in the season to get pass and they took away a lot of my free time for the bike project. I'll have it ready and fully tested by next season though. I'll sit back and enjoy you and Sam racing in street ET. I may just run pro ET only for both days or one day pro ET and top gas the next.

Let's get the swingarm discussion into the correct topic. Bill prefers a good appearance, which is a challenge when trying to use modern rubber. 17" wide rims with spokes?? I think that the next step might be a less functional 18" rim with "bad" rubber as a step up from where we are. Bill isn't looking to run 10's. I don't think that the comfort level will be there. The challenge is with the clutch lever.  Slipping the clutch off of the starting line is a big challenge when you aren't comfortable with the grab of the clutch. The best I saw was around a 1.9XX 60'. Quicker releases of the clutch lever had the bike  going up, quickly. The longer swing arm is planned to add confidence to the launch with control. I'm thinking mid to upper 1.8's for 60' with the hope to tune to an 11.99. He's happy with Street ET. The Hondamatic will be more consistent in the serious local races. Just my opinion...
