I think I know how you'd ride it but it seems like it would look morally, ethically, and personally wrong. :P
All kidding aside, I really love the artistry of the human body and its components... that bike is so rad. :D

IC posted this, and though I usually would never repeat any of the pics he posts *giggle, nudge* this one is well worth it:

The shading and seemingly precise linework really make it, as well as attention to detail and what look like spinal nerves, too.  Very nice.

If I can post the tattoo I've seen of the carpals/metacarpals/SLTPTCH/radius/ulna done in UV ink on the backs of someone's hands, I'll post it.  It was beautifully done and encouraged me to copy more than I would like to admit.

oh! oh! I found it!

The caption on the site reads: "This black-light skeleton tattoo is tufneltastically great. It's invisible in normal light, but under black light, everyone gets X-ray spex. "

*drooooollll*

If anyone else is interested in piercing or tattoo pictures (tasteful art only, thanks) I can probably find a few more.  I've always seen it as bonsai with the body, with all the intense care and artistry necessary for good results.

citizenme, that brought back some memories and i agree with your connection, no question.

kit, i share your wonder of the elegance and beauty of the human (animal) form. as an artist, it continues to be a subject of fascination. my grandmother was nurse and had an old gray's anatomy; as a runt i use to study the diagrams as i was obsessed with the mechanics of the body. only much later did i learn da vinci did similarly... so, make your own conclusions.  ;D

when taking college a+p i developed a so much greater love and amazement for the body, a true miracle imo.

i've seen this guy's work before. he's got a sweetheart deal with harley davidson i believe. some of his stuff, while technically good, seems a bit cheesy to me. i do like more than a few though- including the ones below.

I've already plugged this on the site before, but here it is for the artist thread!

My g/f is a printmaker and she recently did some motorcycle prints.  They're real nice woodblock prints.  Only one is an SOHC, because she did them for a vintage bike show and we tried to get a good mix.  Here's the link:

Well no reason other than being ready for bed when I posted!
Julianne is a student going for her master's in fine arts.  She plans to teach at the high school or college level when she's done and will do her own work as well.  Here's her own site: www.juliannegadoury.com

Here's the other bike prints:

These photos don't really do them justice.  Wood block printing is beautiful and when you get in close you see lots of detail of grain and ink.
Here's one of her other prints, for good measure

nicely done old76cr! fwiw i had a major crush on her as well. can't recall the lp title but the one where she's in a blue jacket and roller skates use to get me all worked up.

wow, "lp" and "roller skates"... for the kids that's cd and roller blades.  ;D

anyway, do you still paint?

Has anyone seen this?

http://www.dobler.us/video/bull.mov

Forget animal cruelty. What about sohc cruelty?
The artist's name is Hubert Dobler. The exibit is called "BULL"

http://www.jackthepelicanpresents.com/doblerpr.html

It looks cool and all, like an actual bull.
