Agreed Bill, as much as it's great that three different vaccines have been created in record time, there's not a lot of information out there regarding long term effects. Obviously there can't be because they've all been rushed through testing, but that doesn't make me feel any better about it.

I'm in a much different situation than you though, here in Oz there are only a few cases so there's no real rush for us all to be vaccinated, but in the US with 1 in 15 having either had Covid or currently have it, it's imperative that folks get vaccinated ASAP. My concern is, of course, it's a vaccine to prevent folks from getting covid, so pretty useless if you've already got it? 

I'm not so happy with what arrived yesterday. I'd bought some stuff from Yamiya including the headlight ear reflectors for my K0, but didn't realise that they didn't come with the rubber insulators that sit behind the reflectors.

A scan of Ebay had some "Made in Japan" reflectors for sale cheap in Taiwan, so I bought them, and nearly 2 months later they arrived. Trouble is they were cheap knockoffs with painted plastic backing plates (not metal, like the originals) and the thread size is 6mm, not 5mm. Hmmnn. OK, so I thought I could at least use the rubber insulators with the genuine Honda reflectors but no, the insulators are too wide as the knockoffs also had 10mm longer screws, so they're absolutely useless.

I'm really annoyed with this, as I'll have to go back to Yamiya and see if they sell the rubber insulators. Sometimes, nothings easy, and that pisses me off.........

Thanks Don, I went back to Yamiya and found the rubber mounts for about $5 AUD ($3.50 USD) each, and while I was at it I bought another set of reflectors $33.00 AUD (25.00 USD) so the total for a set of reflectors with the rubber mounts is $32.00 USD, which is pretty good. I also bought a new set of unpainted headlight ears for my K1 project, for $116.34 USD.

Even though the K1 project is a way down the track, I've got enough candy red paint leftover from the K0 that I thought I'd do a set of sidecovers, headlight brackets and a headlight shell while the weather is still nice and warm. It's actually supposed to be summer here now, but it's been raining and cool for the last 4 days, which is pissing me off.........

Luckily I live out in the country so I plan to spend the next four years either in the shop working on bikes or out riding them if I live that long. We have 9 running bikes now with the Interceptor pretty much done. We have some other people's bikes lined up for work as well.

I had a ride on a VF1000F back in the 90's and it was a very unimpressive bike indeed. Yours looks nice though, did they eventually fix all the issues they had? Or did Honda just walk away and build an entirely new engine, like it did with the VF750, which was one of Honda's biggest lemons. That must have pissed a lot of VF750 owners.

I Finally found a brown leather BILT Caf'e Racer jacket on Ebay that's my size for a Great deal and it's in very good condition:I had to get it.Well it got delivered Fedex Express today 5:03PM,I had my hands full and about 20 minutes later GONE !!! Right off of my doorstep. Pissed-Off doesn't Begin to describe how I feel right now.
I didn't want a heavy Black leather jacket:I waited  for a Brown leather jacket and after waiting years for one that was just right for me(and affordable:I'm low income)I found it...

Certain countries I've heard about cut off a thief's hand,that would certainly identify what a person is about.
I think they need a special tatoo put on their face to identfy them or possibly a finger removed along with a tatoo where the finger use to be.

My paternal grandmother treated me the Best out of any other parent figure in the family when i was a kid and I remember her telling me, "Billy whoever lies also steals"  I really couldn't comprehend what it meant at the time.. getting a little better idea as i live a little longer:either way,it's 'a cheat'.I respect when an individual/an organization is totally 'straight-up' with me/others and 'Tells it like it is' from the beginning to the end.I will learn to trust and respect folks like that:no hidden agenda.I guess what I'm saying is:I don't like to be 'sold a bill of goods' or lied-to or robbed, in Any way by Anybody,EVER.I have seen plenty of nice people get scammed by companies(even treated very badly by others 'legally'  ) or by others over the decades of my life but it hasn't kept me from trusting strangers.I Am becoming more aware of who not to trust though and be more careful of certain situations.I think others aught to Earn my trust before I just learn that I can trust them.

Terry,I bought if from a very nice seller in AR.(sym1947:she upgraded me on her dime to Fedex Express and it was less $ for me later !!  ) and she had made the correct measurements of the length of the torso,sleeves,width of the chest,shoulders,etc. The Caf'e Racer BILT brown jacket is size 44 XL,just what I needed for a long time With it's own lining,from a smoke free home.The thing is I heard the loud knock on the door of my 2nd floor apt and knew it must be that delivery.I had never had any packages stolen so since I had my hands all oily working on the fit of a stator/flywheel to see which one was compatible,I waited for 30 minutes.The package was delivered by Fedex Express at 5:03PM:3 days from AR. to Davis,an amazingly fast time during the Pandemic.
I have 2) next door neighbors,one on either side of me,apt. #12 said they hadn't seen.. The girl in apt.14 said she had seen it right on my doorstep not 20mins. ago 
I have been riding around with 2) other polyester jackets,both with worn-out zippers:I had to throw one away the day after this incident on account of the zipper was So worn it jammed-up and wouldn't release.I had to tear the front of the jacket apart just to remove that worn-out small zipper,that was the very lightweight jacket which I used the most.The other one has a few more 'wears' on it but maybe it'll hold-up until I can find another leather jacket like the one I ordered last week.

I like riding year-round here and it's been moist and cold here on the bike:I NEED THAT JACKET AND LINER.

Yep, that sucks balls Bill, that was a nice looking jacket. I think we've had a few instances where people have stolen parcels from folk's doorsteps in the past, but it's not a "thing" here like it is in the US where those turds follow the delivery trucks around and steal anything they can.

I saw a youtube clip of someone who'd been burned like you built a "Dogsh1t bomb" and put it in a box, left it by his front door, and waited until the thieves drove away before he detonated it by remote. I can just imagine the scene inside the car when a big bag of wet dogsh1t is blown in all directions, do you know anyone who owns a dog Bill?
