WWII vintage BMW.  The MG42 machine gun is a nice accessory and keeps the cage drivers at a respectable distance. :D

Steve- I like it, but since money is not a problem I would upgrade to a mini-gun.  That will keep up better with today's increase in traffic on the highways. -Chuck

I think an ant bike would be great if I had the funds.

That's a nice bike, but when it's foibles will keep it MIA, I'd pass.  If you don't know they come with plastic tanks that don't like today's fuels very much and tend to split at the seams.   In reaction, Ducati has done basically nothing.

I know but I figured if money was no object I'd just pay somebody to deal with it while I ride my CB1100 that Honda doesn't want to sell me ;)

I feel your pain.  As motorcyclists, we get a small slice of the transportation pie here in America.  Aisa gets the variety that we don't get as they probably buy 10 times more bikes than we do, though a good portion of that is scooters.

We have a far smaller market than you guys and we seem to get all the "good" models. Unfortunately you guys have been labeled as a "cruiser" market and "crotch rocket" market, nothing in between......

I don't know if I would want all the ants in my yard riding tiny scooters Larry, we've got some pretty tough ants here, and it wouldn't be long before they formed their own outlaw ant MC and started terrorising the neighborhood. I think I'll just spray 'em instead, just to be safe. ;D

As happy as I am with the bikes I currently own, since my first ride on the back of a big Vincent when I was 12 years old I've always thought I'd like one. The trouble with owning a rare piece of motorcycling history is the desire to keep it safe, so subconciously, you try to protect it. A friend of mine bought one years ago for over 30 grand, and has only ridden it very occasionally, not even once a year. What a shame.

I don't want to feel guilty every time I take one of my bikes for a fast ride, so I think one of these Aussie made "Irving Vincents" would be a lot of fun. Probably still quite rare and collectable, but parts are available if I did throw it down the road, and I've seen these bikes in action at Phillip Island, and they are wickedly fast! ;D

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

I would love to get a Drysdale 1000cc V8, I love the styling, and the idea of having a V8 bike.  Oh and best of all it is Australian made ;D.

Is Ian Drysdale still going mate? When Ken Wooton was still alive he brought another Drysdale into the servo in West Heidelberg where I worked to show me, (Woose was a lovely bloke) the frame was really spindley, but Ken said that it handled reasonably well. It was a V8 as well, based on two FZR400 top ends on Ian's own crankcases. Not a bad jigger at all really. Cheers, Terry. ;D

I'm not sure if he is still going or not, his website is still there but it hasn't been updated for a long time.  It still doesn't change the fact I would love one of these bikes. :D

I think Honda USA is afraid to launch an expensive, niche market model in a very competitive, keepem movin' out the door environment.  Europe is getting it next year, so maybe that will provide some more interest here.  In the mean time, I'm waiting for one of our members "down under" to give us a review.

The 600cc street version of the Goldie single is as much as €9500 or $11,600 USD.  (Cheaper than the Manx's, which are something like £11,525 or $17,900 USD.)
