i'm doing a similar sort of thing , i have managed to stop smoking now for a little over 2 years and i did that simply by will power , planned it in my head to do it on the 1st of september 2004, smoked right up to the night before did'nt cut down had my last smoke before going to bed and then threw everything in the bin lighter, tobbaco tin, the works , i have not had a smoke since nor have i wanted one

so on the 1st of september 2006 i started another regime no sugar in my brews , no biscuits or candy, no crisps , like terry try and drink more water , i should exercise more, but i can feel the difference in a couple of months , i dont have an ideal weight or anything like that but i have my old belstaff jacket that i like to wear when i'm out riding and i'd like to get back in that as at the moment its to tight
