K&N Air Filter 4 77 750
« on: July 19, 2013, 03:30:41 PM »
Can I install a set of K&N Air Filter to my 77 750F without making any adjustments to the Carbs? Is it a good idea or just stick with the "Stock Air Box"?

Thanks for the reply. Anyone know what would have to be done if I where to use the KnN Filters. I see them on some bikes.

I made a K&N air filter for my CB500 by burning out an OEM filter and epoxy gluing in a section of K&N air filter element from a Harley filter.  There was no need for any carb adjustments and the bike has run great since.  I have attached a picture.

guess you mean pods from k&n?not airfilter in stockbox. after i read a lot of posts here i think you have to fiddle around with the carbs a lot to get the bike running good.this pd carbs from77/78 dont like pods.i use stockbox and im happy.even its a pita to mount it.
