they stopped there because the L's rearry, rearry confuse them.....Rearry! ;D

Also checked specs on the crank and cleaned it and the rods up.  Have new bearings and F2 crank nuts / bolts on the way.

Great progress!  Are you replacing all the transmission bearings?  If so where did you find the 6008 (NICK)?  That is the only one I cannot find for my F2 motor...

I got another one for ya...I was studying the cb350k's factory service manual wiring diagram when I discovered my little twin had some sort device known as a "regurator"...
If it works good, it looks good...

I got my first  (near complete) peace of the Turd completed today.  Rebuilt the gauges to near stock.  Refilled the damping fluid in the tach, added led strips for background light, new faces & jewels.  Still waiting on led indicator lights and NOS rubber to come in but it felt great to get one piece completed.





Got the carbs sorted and an airbox on the way from Frankenbike, thanks.  I was going to go with RS34's on this build but decided to keep thing looking a bit more stock since my 77 strayed away from that look.




Frame and all other hard parts are prepped and ready for powdercoat, also worked on removing the little bit of rust in the fuel tank and am close to having it ready to ship off to never2old for a respray.

Finally received all the bits I have waiting on for the complete 836 engine rebuild, so the engine is next on the list.

I can't take credit for the carbs.  Mine were shot once I tore into them so I picked these up from a guy who replated and rebuilt these.

Bat cave isn't descriptive enough RAF, Bill Benton has a bat superstore. It's ridiculous. I am in awe each time I go. He could build 20 bikes if not more with the stuff there

Cases are painted just awaiting back and cure.  Can't wait to build the bottom end, thats one of my favorite things to do on these builds.





Freshened up the inner rear fender and got the old tank cleaned out.







Also ordered a replica giuliari seat from forum member, Ricky_Racers,  , Thanks Ted!

At first I was going to go almost all stock on this build.  After seeing brandEns K4 in person I made up my mind to go stock with a slight twist, it is so sweet.

Already on the way B.  I need to switch from the 71 seat lock plunger to a newer style locking seat latch to run the seat. Thanks

Gauge lighting looks awesome! Is there a direct fit LED for the indicator lights?

Do you have issue of the lamps lighting at idle? Given the lower on threshold for LEDs in indicators I have read of issues when using LEDs, especially for oil pressure and seen easily at night. LEDs don't have variable resistance before lighting and a re way faster to illuminate than an incandescent bulb. Do the ba9s have resistors?

ba9s bulbs do not have resistors but I have never had any issues using LEDs in my indicators.  Wouldn't be too difficult to hook up resistors if you wanted to either.
