Hahaha bad weather again in Maryland! You know what that means! Free Shop Time!

Parts high temp painted, besides the clutch cover that I'm still trying to get the gasket off.  That will also get painted, then bake them all in the oven!





Remember these??





This one didn't come out quite that great because my heat gun melted some of the tape I was using to cover the "Honda" Im thinking maybe I will paint that in Silver or White, what do you all think??

Its called VHT paint and its from Advanced Auto but you can most likely get it anywhere.  High heat primer as well though.  and its 200  degrees for either 1 or 2 hours i can't remember, but its on the back of the can!

Thanks for the tip, but Im leaning more toward just painting everything that isn't painted in the picture and leaving it like that where just the center is painted.  Iv seen guys do this with success and it looks good!

I talked to the guy and it seems legit,  If i pick it up I'm going to try and get a Vermont title.  But I'm going to offer him a lower number and see what he does

Not sure where you got your info, but Vermont will not give you a title. Registration yes, title no.

If the deal works out and you can get it,it'd be right for the seller to help you get it registered..,His 'John Hancock' wherever you ask before I paid him.I think to get it registered you'll have to have the name of the last person it was registered to,ask the seller to provide you w/ that or No deal.I'd consider it only a 'parts bike' until you get that.

All I have to do in new Hampshire is get a bill of sale and Vin check by s police officer, did it today for my 350f I have been restoring for two years

Still fighting getting the old gasket off.  This is really setting me back in time.





Also got the Oil filter off. No problems, I was afraid it would be since it had rust on the bolt, Win! Ill change the filter, and  Contemplating painting the housing as well.





Crappy Picture, but i threw the painted parts just to see what it looks like!

These work really good for removing old gaskets. The threaded part is 1/4". I take a long 1/4" bolt and cut the head off. Thread it into the roloc adapter and use a 3/8 hand drill for the stud you just made. wa la you have gasket grinder. If you go this route BE CAREFUL with these things!! They will take aluminum off in a hurry and ruin your cover.   They generally have them at a local hardware store or maybe even home depot.
