CB750F2 (SOHC) fuel cock
« on: May 15, 2015, 07:27:27 AM »
The fuel cock for the CB750F2 (SOHC) has been discontinued, but it is still available for the CB750F1.  Since the F1 and F2 are quite similar, can any F2 owner tell me if the fuel cock from the F1 would fit the F2 tank?  Thanks.

I had to replace my F2 fuel cock, but not made any more, but I used one from the K7, fits perfectly, just the outlet is offset from the F2 , no problem, just re route the fuel pipe, works fine

Turns out that the 16950-341-671 fuel cock for the F1 does not fit the F2 tank, which has a 16 X 1.5mm thread.  Ended up using one from a CB250 tank I had lying about.  Maybe someday will get around finding one from a K7 as suggested.

You "find" them at your local Honda dealership.  ;)

The shop is almost always cheaper then EBay these days. $42.21 for the complete assembly. Partzilla is a very poor choice. Very expensive, no support for military stationed overseas. Discount Honda Parts is what I use. They don't mind shipping USPS to military address AND they are very competitive. As a side note: Not in this case, but amazing with other parts what outlandish prices people pay on EBay for parts that are readily available from Honda.

Yeah, the Partzilla link was just to demonstrate the cost of the filter screen alone.

That is definitely a good price, but I would contact Discount Honda Parts before ordering and verify availability. Their website may not be up to date on this particular part. All of the other sites I've seen show this as discontinued and not available. Heck, if they have it in stock I just might order one!

They seem to be very accurate. I ordered a new oil filter housing--not available anywhere else from Honda--and got it dirt cheap. It must have been the last one, because after my order, it wasn't available anymore. There are super expensive reproduction on EBay, but I got this original dirt cheap. :)
Give them a try--it might be the last one if you say that they are nowhere else available.
