K7 engine in a K2 Frame?

Hey guys,

So i had an issue with the k2 engine and had a k7 laying around. I thought this would be a simple swap but starting to run into issues with the sprocket etc. Anyone successfully complete this swap? Anything i can take off of the K2 to make this easier?

You will need a K7/K8 sprocket carrier for the rear wheel.

Also the chain is different.

K2 uses 530....k7 uses 630.

or a 10mm offset rear sprocket from Cyclex will save you having to mess around with the axle spacers too
