Okay, so she texts me from the other place saying she found a tank. I'm a little busy so I just text back... "yeah, ok". She comes back and I can see she's a little flushed. I figure it's cold over there or something. She lightly mentions the tank but we are busy looking at a new battery cover for mine. (got a battery cover and oil tank cover NEW for $30/both!) So we get my stuff, leave and she asks if we can just go over and look at the tank. I agree, look and shrug. She shows me the inside and how clean it is, no rust at all. They used a form of electrolysis on it.
She has a way of picking the diamond in the rough and this definitely was rough looking on the outside. All oxidized and dirty, some paint rubbed off from the seat. We go outside, talk it over, I give in and she runs back in and gets it. Fast track to last night... she's off in the corner in her own little fog bent over the thing, mumbling to her self occasionally. Then she produces... *THAT!*  ;D I learned a long time ago to never doubt her intuition or her talent. It really does look as good as new.

As for the snow, nah we don't actually consider that snow. It's a dusting. We did end up with more but only about 2" total. The natives here have been going out of their minds over it though. They just don't know how to handle it. I showed a lady what an ice scraper is... she was amazed. 'Nuff said.  ::)

? huh, I guess I never looked that close at the character.... Kinda sad that the two of us never noticed his junk once.  guess I figured he was a) a frog and b) a cartoon char. and never imagined that was really his parts.

I looked up 'crazy frog' after someone found plushies and found this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crazy_Frog  ...holy crap.  I just thought it was a little blip on youtube... (then again I only rarely watch TV and even then it's usually only the History channel...)
Weird.

nup! on a flat straightaway. :D  A hill would've taken me down to 60 for sure! :D

I'm actually strongly considering buying a metro after I sell my neon.  The neon's good on fuel and all, but not like that.  ...and the neon totally sucks in bad weather. Too torquey, even in 1st.  I figure if I get a beatup metro that runs good, I can make a little punkmobile out of it. :D

Are you kidding me? Those Geo's can do 130 in their sleep!!

Mine used to start shaking around 115 but asson as I got over 125 it smoothed right out and I hit well over 140 on numerous occasions.

That little car was absolutely awesome! Hell I could park it anywhere including the sidewalk if needed. I have had both the Metro as well as the Pontiac version (Firefly) and had great success with both...the only down side to having such a light car was coming out of a party one night and a few buddies had picked it up and put it on a neighbour's yard.
