First bike was a CHOPP'A!!!

This isn't it, but it looked almost identical. Mine was a very pale green. Somehow I managed to get it caught on the chain link fence that surrounded our back yard with both tires about a foot off the ground. I was 4 or 5. My dad had to come pry us both off. No harm, no foul, so pull the cord, crank her up and off I go.
Next came the Honda 50, ran that one into the back of our 'brick' house and broke off the water spigot. Both the bike and I were fine (except for my red butt - no spare the rod, spoil the child here). It would have been a nice wheelie if I wasn't flailing off the back of bike with my legs dragging the ground.

Then the Honda SL70... some good stories there too.
First real street bike was my dad's '77 CB550 which I started riding when I was 15. Didn't want a car when I turned 16, so rode the CB to and from school, work and also 'Freddie Spencer'ed' it all over town. Damn thing had crash bars (hated) and I 'Freddie Spencer'ed' one of them into the rear quarter panel of a station wagon. Only knocked off a little trim molding off the wagon, but bent the crash bar like it was coat hanger wire, but somehow I stayed upright. I also remember being let out of school due to snow. Everyone's getting into their nice warm cars and there's me rolling off on the five-fifty. That bike is responsible for me buying my current CB750 and finding this awesome forum and great group of people!
