No, that's what my wife did to mine so she could continue to read her paperback when we were still riding after sunset.

A local flat track hot shoe did that with one of his Yamaha factory bikes once, lights taped to the bike and the plate on a string around his neck. He did a couple laps through town and did a mile long wheelie. Local legend, he usually either led the race or blew it up.

Sent the seller a message asking if the lens can be flipped over!!

Here is his response.  Can someone explain to me, backwards?!? Obviously, English is not his first language!

Thank you for contacting our business.
We are happy about it.

The bulb can be installed backwards, we appreciate your cooperation.

Thank you for your business.

I sent one also, didn't get a response. You'd think they would catch on, marketing and engineering are not communicating.

The lens alone can't be flipped since the lens is not symmetrical top to bottom, but the light fixture bolts to the bracket so the fixture could be unbolted and flipped to its proper orientation. 8)

They replied to my Q? about fixing the taillight. Yes, it may be installed the other way.

The Yamaha racer mentioned above bored out my 836 for me, I mentioned the time 13 of us rode to Louisville to watch him and two other locals race the flat track. He said no crap, that's cool, how did I do? I said you were in the middle of the pack for two laps, looked like you said screw this and downshifted. In two more laps you had a half lap lead on the entire pack. Then it blew up. He replied, sounds like me.
