Nice work on those! I would put the turns in the centre of the two bolts closest to the fork tube, then centre to the top edge. That's just one Mans opinion though.

Nice and sleek. I like that they are out of the way. As long as they are super bright during the day then it almost doesn't matter where you put them on the bracket.

I would ensure they are easily higher than the dome of the bolt ahead. As long as 200+lumens is always brighter than your headlight they will be visible past the corona of the headlamp. Not an issue I am guessing. 60w house lightbulbs are like 530 lumens for old incadescent.

I am thinking... Put it at the back close to or covering top bolt...
Then mill out most of the lite bracket...half thickness of material...leaving about 5/8 wide of full thickness around the edges and bolt holes.... When that is done paint the thinner part red..same as headlite shell.
If you cant visualize it..sorta like that cut thinner part of the brake handle..but way bigger.

I have one i can use part time, and my rotary table is there..
Its across town and hard to get out there for me right now,been snowing lots, roads are crap.
When are you up next... Bet you would enjoy visiting "that place" while we futz about on your parts...

We get to see that on TV about one of the Wrecker service companies that keep that highway cleared of wrecks of the big commercial stuff. Interesting show and nice scenery. Hi Frank! Great to hear ya got milling available, how about lathe?

Those turn signals are awesome! If mine was more modern looking I would throw those on there for sure. This is one of my favorite 550s for sure.

Also sorted my Hindle muffler bracket with a little freehand milling.
Now off to the anodizer and it's a wrap.

That billet bracket is something. MUCH nicer than the early 550 passenger brackets!

I really like those signals. I am reconsidering the Motogadget bar end signals since they are less exposed, but these Watsen lights are actually more expensive than Motogadget units! I am wondering which will be more visible and bright.

Although expensive, you know the prices are in Canadian dollars, right?
That's not much more than a couple of Starbucks coffees to you LA types.
The build quality is outstanding too. The LED's are bonded into machined billet aluminum housings and a crystal clear resin seals up the front.

I haven't seen the Motogadget signals in person but I know their build quality is top tier too. They also have the advantage of visibility from all angles including the rear.

I'll post up a video of the signals in action in a day or two Don.

Jimmy please round them corners of the bracket against the frame..

If you sandblast the milled out part, and polish the rest , it would look pretty cool..
