There's something wrong with those pics, but I just can't put my finger on it? Wait a minute, I know now, it's clean! Ha ha,

Yup , and just as soon as it's warm enough, the floor gets a coat of epoxy!

I got sick of trying to work in a messy shop, so I turned a new leaf. Now I actually clean up after myself!

It's amazing how fast a project will go when you don't spend half the time looking for a tool or parts

Wow, I've seen some nice workshops so far.  Here's mine - you can't really see much in the picture because that's about all there is.  I have to roll the bike outside to get to my workbench.  Kinda tight, but it has "character", and dim yellow lighting that makes me feel like I'm a nutty inventor/mad scientist.

Yeah......mine is a wreck too Whats wild is the people that owned the property before us built this shed and used it to work on their Harleys  It has a smooth area in the concrete by the door thats inscribed.... "Dave & Mels Harley Shop" The guy used trees with the bark still on for studs  Its a decent sized shop for 1 bike, but I would like to tear it down and re-use the floor for a better building.

I've only recently cleaned it out and started working on my bike in there. Behind the back wall is another building that is a catch all. When it got full, my side started collecting crap. I would cringe everytime my wife would say....."Honey.....do you have room in the building for this?"

Here is the nerve center... or the place I go when I get on her nerves! Not big but enough room for the "riders" (the rest in various state in another building and extra engines in the basement) Winter can be long here so a warm place was needed. Poured new concrete with in floor heat and it's well insulated. It's very comfortable and I can heat it with a fart, and sometimes do, enough said!

it's that time of year again where I'm spending more time in the garage than inside the house,  so I figured it's about time to put up some pics of the shop at my new house.  We bought it in March, and it's our first house, but I'll just post pictures of the important part.   Yes, Steve, I'll put these in the gallery as well, but I just felt like reviving this thread.

Ok...I don't really have a shop...at home, I've just got a carport....but for work, I've got a 5500' photo studio...here it is dressed up for a Halloween party, and a shot of the action...oh, the V-Rod isn't mine, but my bike does get to sleep indoors in the winter!

I've got a storage unit since I took this picture.  But a RZ350 now calls my garage home too, along with a temperary stay of a 1969 CL 350 (4000 original miles bone stock very sharp!) so even with a lot of crap moved out it still looks about the same.

For the two Jawa/CZ lovers in this thread you are gonna find it ironic that my CB was once in the same home as about 10 various CZs and Jawas... the closest two to my CB in location were two 350 Californians. One Red and white and the other one was Black and Chrome. I used to own an old CZ Motocrosser that wound up being sold to this same guy after my dad got sick of it just sitting there non running. But hes got my old motocrosser and an Enduro CZ. Hes also got an old bultaco trials bike...all of this in the former math classroom of a closed down school that he bought half of. Will have to see if i can get some pics of this collection sometime.Here are some pics of my own workspace that is shared by my CB and my roomates Suzuki GS750 Chopper project.

i hate all of you.  i live in a one bedroom apartment with no driveway, etc.  my 74 cb450 is 30 miles away from me in a shed in mums backyard, my 76 750f is on the street with a cover on it hiding the fact that it is unregistered and without a tank.  my 72 350 twin is at my friend's sister's house tucked behind her garage and i was forced to give away a 78 750k because my buddy lost his apartment and the spot i was holding it at.  i have a closet full of spare parts and my living room looks like a motorcycle graveyard. 

soooooon. i will have a garage and a spot where i can do this stuff.  damn it damn it damn it.

you guys should try dealing with a leaky gas tank on a road just outside harvard square.  needless to say the laptop liberals in my area are none too pleased with my environmental indiscretions.

My bike lives in a "two car" size garage containing (in addition to the CB350F) a car, a Triumph Sprint ST900 and a Aprilia Sprint 500 (BIIIGG scooter)  therefore leaving little space for work... when I touched up the engine recently we had to move the car out so I could have space to walk round the bike...

Oh, and the garage is  well over 100 miles from where I live...

One day the CB350F and I will be together again....

Here is a pic of mine. 

I have to move out a few bikes to work, but it suits me well.  Someone once sugjusted I give up a couple bikes....the nerve! 

The other side of the garage (serving as a shelf) is a vintage APBA 1.5L record holding Hydroplane.  Someday I will have a big enough shop to restore her.

nice shops/garages/sheds/lean-to's guys... here's a couple that i snapped of my new/old/rented garage.  my girlfriend and i found out on the day we moved in that the floor was very fine dirt.  so fine in fact that i can take an 18" screwdriver and push it easily all the way to the handle  ... so, 400 bucks later you see the floor compliments of heffay and a couplea friends and several BEERS. 

this is the first garage i've had since i moved out of my parents house 14 years ago!  you'll see... finally in one collection... my  black '73 cb350f cafe, my red '75/'77 cb400f race project (yes i have most of the needed parts), and my '92 zx7r... my girlfriend lays claim to the '98 vfr800 and the '88 ex500.

                            Nice set up. I'm jealous. I had a nice 2-car garage once upon a time. I could even
             drive a car into it and close the door! Of course, at that time, I only had a 71' SL350,  parts
             of another 350 Honda and a 71' AT1 125 Yamaha dirt bike w/ the 175 magneto on it. (By
             the way, the SL350, the 350 parts and the AT1 have been gone for quite some time)
             Then we moved and I have been reduced to a 1-car garage (that I can no way put a car
              into it) and a 12' x 14' building (and I've got so many "Project Bikes", that it looks like I'm           
              running a motorcycle salvage). Congratulations on having that SPACE, looks like you're
              putting it to good use.

thanks bill... i can't wait until i get some time away from school to really start tearing into my spare 350 motor and the 400 motor.  but, for now, its a good place to go crank the tunes, sit back, swig a few, smoke a few and gaze at the collection.  they're almost as fun to look at all snuggled warmly together out of the elements as they are to ride.
