At the Toymaker’s Cafe in Falls Village, CT yesterday. A beautiful, crisp autumn day in New England.

Took her out for a nice little run with some friends. She did a good job at keeping up with the newer bikes! Although I will say I found out the clutch slips pretty bad if you get on the throttle too hard haha.  :P   This is my first bike too, btw.

Stopped for some coffee on my way home.

Nice bike jayrdee.

Oil choice can affect clutch performance as well as a clutch needing adjustment...fwiw
Must use a JASO MA rated oil for wet clutches and not all oils with the rating are going to prevent a little slippage. There are oil wars in thread after thread about what is best...you can open that can of worms if you like after checking that your oil is in good shape and your clutch is properly adjusted.

Note, the foam of your helmet liner can be damaged hanging the helmet from a mirror or handlebar pressing on the foam. This is what I have been told by a helmet maker...it can lead to a weakness in the foam affecting its performance when called upon to do its job.

I usually let the mirror stick out thru the visor opening. Helmet sit safe.

Did you bring the bike down to Barber in your van or did you ride?

Not a good pic but had the K4 "Big Bang Bike" out last weekend at the annual Harvest Classic Vintage Bike Rally.  Member ChrisP's K3 is there too.
We took rides on Friday and Saturday, the bike ran flawlessly....

Write up and more pics here...

Yes,  I like it too. The bike was blue from the beginning. But that blue was slightly lighter, almost turquoise. I have seen that color on CB750 and CB500  1976 model around here.
Yamiya got a flake version of this Candy Sapphire Blue one month after I ordered my set .
That must look even better.

I hope I can do another ride today after work.

I like that exhaust! What kind is it? And do you have any sound clips?

I have a 77 cb750 identical to yours and the oem one just isn't cutting it for me anymore.

In front of one of the mills/dams in Danville, VA.  OK, it's a parking lot but close to the road....

Hey Calif Wingnut, this bike look at all familiar? It's a '73.
