Figured I'd give life to this thread again.

Went out for my first proper ride on the old girl yesterday since buying it back in October.

Was plesently surprised with the performance, although I'm glad I've got twin disks up front after being used to my previous bike, still calibration required on my end.

Stupid question really but worth a try, does anyone in the UK modifying /café-ing their F1 or F2 have any of the seat trim strip for sale? It's absence annoys me every time I look at my bike.

Well don't lean it over too hard in a right hander mate, I bought a chicken yellow F0 just like yours brand new in 1978 (it was a '75 model, but dealers couldn't move them, so I got a big discount) and the first time I went through some "S" bends, the big bulbous muffler grabbed the tarmac and threw me and my passenger down the road. I threw it away and bought an RC 4 into 1 and never had that problem again.

Terry, it drags the collector on the right and centre stand on the left. At least the new parts don’t have wear marks yet

I have an Orange 750 F1 that was taken apart by a not too bright PO. I hope to loosely re-assemble it into a complete project bike for someone that's looking for one to rebuild.

Here is my 1978 750F just went through a full engine rebuild and even added a cam for some extra pep....just need to get the fuel lines hooked up and she should be ready to fire up
