Id like to see any one of you build a bike that can take top honors at the Grand National Roadster Show. And be featured in 12,15,20 magazines? I hope it brings every bit of whats being asked for it. Its worth every penny.

Holy cow.  Have you looked in the project section here?  I'm not saying my bike is anything, I know mine is crap.  But look at what some of the others have done.  Start with mec's Egli racer.  Look at the frame he built for it.  Look at how much horsepower he gets.  Then look at Paulage's 550.  Compare the horsepower he gets with that of a 750! Then have a look at MCRider's Phaedrus and the work that went into that.  Those are just three examples from the first two pages of the project section.

Don't get me wrong, Carpy's bike that's for sale is definitely cool.  But don't sell the guys here short.

Keep in mind this is a stock motor. Unported, no fancy cams, no engine work. A stock CB750 motor. Its a pretty bike yes, does it outperform other stock CB750s, no. You want to pay $26K for that? Go ahead

Im not trying to sell anybody short. You are damn right that there are tons of bad asss bikes in this forum. Carpy had the balls to take his "stock" bike further than I could ever dream. Come on for fucck sake,He won at the show of shows. Any one of you could do it to! But he did it and the bike is famous now. Let it rake in the bucks. I just wish it was Carpy himself getting the cash so he could fund his shop.

Nice bike and all, by no means is it worth $26k..... Could really do without the old english "cafe" on the tank. The checkers do add a nice contrast to it though.
That's what I'd like to hear.
