When you sign in go to the search function and enter soda blaster. You will find a lot of good info. If you want to just buy one. Harbor freight has great deals. Hope this helps.

You can cut aluminum with a circular saw too, for sheet metal I would probably put it between a couple layer of plywood or OSB so the saw does not grab. Then the radii on the corners could be done with a belt or disk sander

I saw a guy I worked with actually cutting 12 gauge steel sheet by scoring it with a utility knife and breaking it, not dead on your topic but still good info, and you can wire weld 12 gauge pretty well.

Few more things done today. I sanded batteries box down and spray it with some black rust-oleum until I can do a full tear down. Set the valves today not as hard as I thought it was going to be. Also adjust the cam chain.

Worked on the bike a little this weekend. #1 getting hot but not as hot as it should be. Plug still looks a little wet so I am going to install new coil to see if it helps. >:(

After one new coil for #1 and #4 she lives, just in time for winter. I think I am going to tear her down to nothing and maybe do some top end work.

The wife let me bring the bike in the walkout basement if I cleaned the basement out and did the yard work. I said HELL YES. A few more light and will be good to go.

I been thinking a lot about front suspension and decided to update. I thought about GL 1000 like Tweakin but I would have wanted a fork brace and other thing which add up to a lot so I decided that I would go newer. I want to do GSXR front end, but did want to spend the extra money. I found a good deal on a  1996-1997 CBR F3 front end controls and front wheel for under 200.00 it need some cleaning and some love. So the next phase of the build will start now.

Lifted the heavy #$%* off  the work stand today. Did the standard one man deal and put the motor on its side. Tape frame with paper towels and masking tape. Had thee neighbor kid help me lift it onto the assembling platform.
