You guys can't see me now but I'm standing and applauding.

My personal choices would be the first and the one on the right in the 3rd post. I can see patches and T-Shirts with this.

Competition is heating up and time is running low  ;)

Fan fukintastic. ;D ;D ;D ;D  The last two are awesome. Is there a possibility the word "Rider" be worked in there. This would denote those who rode vs those that could not. Not an elitist thing just recognize those that dodged cagers on this quest.

All I gotta say is THANKS to Brian and Lights Out aka Don and Lydia - Great work guys!!

I believe we need to take this to the next step and get proposals from suppliers for T-Shirts, Patches, and Stickers ASAP.

Member Suppliers should get the first shot! What can you do for the group?? Direct marketing preferrably and no cut to the site. It's on you now.

Anyone have any good leads for outside vendors we might be able to use if we need someone else?

Might we be taking the godzilla thing a little too far?  Might some see it as derogatory?

Godzilla is a Japanese creation as far as I know, just as our bikes are.

The way I see it, those who may be offended think...

1. Godzilla is an offensive reminder of Hiroshima and Nagasaki

Valid point, but I believe enough time has past and Japan and the west have such a close relationship that this is a stretch.  In the later movies Godzilla became a good guy, and helped fight the other monsters like Mecha-Godzilla, correct?  Godzilla had the same effect on western audiences that Honda had with motorcycles, one destroyed cities and the other destroyed the bike market.

2. Godzilla is a negative cultural stereotype.

If it's a negative then there should be no Japanese reference at all. What else could be referenced? Pokemon? Sushi? bad ideas...

3. It's just stupid.

hmmm, maybe your right...

I vote monster!

I vote monster!

I work for a Japanese Company and everyone I have spoken to thinks it is cool. Trust me that are not that polite when you are a co worker, and they will give you their opinion. In the 1950's the Atomic Bomb was a favorite topic for giant Monsters in the US and Japan. We did insects and they did Dinosaurs.

Folks, political correctness has seeped in here and I think you are reading more into this than anyone else would. That is an amazingly good design. Let's cut the crap and give excellent work it's due.

I'm pro Godzilla, I was expounding on why I thought others resist the idea.

But of course, none of this will be relevant unless people vote for Godzilla in the poll on Feb 1st.  If the monster loses, it's back to the drawing board!

This is great!  We probably should have a vote for this too.

What do you think about putting "Honda" on there somewhere? Not everyone knows what a SOHC is or what the wing emblem is.

Round Patch. No need for Honda, one look and anyone who has seen one will know what it is. I will take 2 patches a long sleeve pocket T and a short sleeve one too. How about a pull over hooded sweat shirt/ called hoodies nowadays.
