Nice. Gonna be a cool bike when it's done.

Thanks, should have it running again this weekend.  Just have a couple more covers to throw on, fill with oil and adjust valves.

Got the carbs back together...but not before the sharp corner of the manifold sliced my hand open!

I really like what you did painting the carbs, I'm going to do something similar to just the float bowls of mine, what kind of paint ?

Heavens to Mergatroid.  :o

Exit Stage left....

No Hijack - That looks AWESOME!!!!  The +1 stance looks mean.  You should send a pic of those tires to Avon, 'cause that's how they are supposed to look!

Top end buttoned up and valves adjusted...

I never noticed until now that there was a definite HUGE oil leak flowing from the front rubber puck near #3.  I had several leaks I was trying to fix, and this one looks like the culprit for the majority of the oil on the front of the engine.  Crossing fingers!!

Snapped this after work.  Just finally got it running!  Two kicks power off, switched key on and POW it fired right up.

Looking forward to taking her for a spin to see if any (hopefully all!) of the oil leaks I attacked are fixed.

Love the look and color of the bike. One question, you going to button up the wiring before you ride? Or is that still on the To-do list...?  ;)

Really beautiful turnout on your project Still!

Thanks!  Calj - the wiring was more or less pulled out of the headlight bucket, and spark plug wires pulled off.  Got everything buttoned up, might take it for a spin Saturday and take some new pictures.

Getting her to the almost rideable stage - still have pegs to figure out how to reassemble, fill and bleed front brake, adjust chain, and for the heck of it - sync the carbs.

Also have different taillights....but I need to water jet the brackets and have them formed at work....and the water jet is down :(
