Soo real quick question guys, I have a 78 cb750 k bike that came to me from a buddy as a project bike that he wasnt going to finish. Im to the point now of reinstalling the wiring harness and I cannot remember where the white wire with ring connector from the alternator harness bolts to  nor the green wire in the main harness with the ring connector on it. Any help would be much appreciated .

Calj. Much appreciated buddy , I knew the green was ground just didnt know where to ground it, but I honestly didnt remember where the white lead with ring connector went . Had I removed it originally I probabaly would have remembered. Again much thanks!

A picture would help. I don't know how the white would connect to the alternator harness with a "ring" connector. All of the alternator connections on my K8 are bullets or spades IIRC. Is the wire insulation itself "white" or does this wire have a white outer sheath?

Got some time to work on it a bit today, it is infact a white sheath. Inside the sheath is a light green and it looks like a red stripe again with a ring connector.so I pose the question again where does that one connect?

Neutral switch, on the bottom side of the engine case.

You'll also find a Blue/Red wire around there too. That's the oil pressure switch and should be running in the same "sheath" from under the left side cover, to the stator harness plug.

Per the diagram, green with red stripe goes to neutral switch underneath. Blue with red stripe goes to oil pressure sender.
