You should send them to me and buy some nice stainless still exhaust. Let me know if that works for you. I don't charge much for proper disposal.

Looks great, Ron. Now get in some seat time!
Finally got mine back together again! Equipped with MotoGPWerks aluminum swingarm, fresh top end and a custom weatherpack'd wiring harness.
Thanks! I feel as if I owe it to you for helping make them happen. You seemed to have a lot of push for the 550 arm.
Finally I can join the coolest club ever...
As she sits now.

Desert, how do the Maier covers attach? Looks like bolt/screw heads facing out, which I would prefer to losing one or two going down the highway. Were they difficult to attach and do they come off easily? Thanks.Tom

Thanks.TomI used modified heavy duty drywall wall anchors that were 1/4" x 20, you know the kind that bow out when you screw them down. I cut the top piece off and used the expanders to hold them in place. I can get a pic if you want.
Desert,Thanks for the info. Pics would be great when you get around to it. Your bike looks "clean" in a style manner if you know what I mean.Tom
Here is a pic of my newly refreshed K7.Started as a $400. junk yard bike that I pulled out of an old warehouse in Maine.....true to form, I did not do a build thread... maybe one of these days I will pull it together...
Will get some picks tomorrow when I get back from the shop.
