Hey Desert nice bike but without those  ugly pipes will look much better. You should send them to me and buy some nice stainless still exhaust. Let me know if that works for you. I don't charge much for proper disposal.

Finally got mine back together again!  Equipped with MotoGPWerks aluminum swingarm, fresh top end and a custom weatherpack'd wiring harness.

Actually I was more interested in the 750 arms, but i'll support anyone who goes out of their way to make parts for these old girls, especially performance parts of this quality... ;)

Those are Maier mfg covers, it came with the left one and I found a right one for cheap.

Desert, how do the Maier covers attach?  Looks like bolt/screw heads facing out, which I would prefer to losing one or two going down the highway.  Were they difficult to attach and do they come off easily?  Thanks.

I used modified heavy duty drywall wall anchors that were 1/4" x 20, you know the kind that bow out when you screw them down. I cut the top piece off and used the expanders to hold them in place. I can get a pic if you want.

Thanks for the info.  Pics would be great when you get around  to it.  Your bike looks "clean" in a style manner if you know what I mean.

Started as a $400. junk yard bike that I pulled out of an old warehouse in Maine.
