Removing cam tower

Hey All,

I am new here but have been looking through the threads for awhile now. I am in the middle of rebuilding my cb750 engine and for some reason I am stuck at the cam tower. I am trying to remove it so that I can check out the cylinders and have removed all bolts/screws that hold it on I think. I removed a total of 26 bolts/screws but can not seem to get it to budge at all. Any hep would be great. Thanks

I think you need five posts to be permitted to post pictures. Do five quick posts (Southside Dive Bar is popular) then post up some pictures. There's only six to eight bolts in each cam tower (depending upon year) plus the two sprocket bolts for a total of fourteen or eighteen.

You got the cam out, right?

Cam towers or head?
each cam towers should have 6 that hole the tower down. the other 4 per cam tower just secure the rocker shafts in place

you need to get the towers off to access the other stud bolts (6 hiding under the pucks) to get the head off

I'm sorry guys, not sure why I said cam tower...I meant the cylinder head. I have already removed the cam towers. Thanks for you replies!
