***AN INQUIRY TO THOSE WHO HAVE OWNED OR RIDDEN A MOTORCYCLE WITH A LIGHTENED CRANK***
I will be sending my crank to APE in the next day or so and haven't decided whether I want to just balance the crank or have it lightened + Balanced
Rideability + Performance:My concern is that it might not be street-friendly and that due to the fast revving nature I will have to buy a Dyna ignition system with a rev limited (more money for parts after spending more money on parts). What are thoughts on rideability? I will be running a 126-20 cam, so Im thinking it would be a good way to get up into my powerband more quickly?
Cost:The cost difference is $285 for lightened+balanced vs $75 for balanced. Not a huge deal but Im sure I could find another way to spend that $210
Cool factor:it looks sexy and a responsive, snappy motor sounds very appealing to me...
