After my recent purge of engines with bad cases I was left with lots of little odds and ends.  One was a bad fork lower.

This is my first attempt at garage art.  Let's see yours.

This may not be exactly what you had in mind but here it is. My wife and I got married in a small country church that would've been hard to find for all out out of town relatives and guests that were invited so I made up a bunch of these pointing the direction. They were all just scrap pieces of plywood that were tossed after the ceremony except for this one, it's pretty dirty now due to a garage fire that burned up half my garage years ago but once repairs were made to the garage the sign went right back up on the wall. As of this past July 1st it's been there for 28 years.

Wow 28 year!  Congratulations!  You must be doing something right.  Sometimes it is the little things like that sign that stay with you.  Funny how something small like that can transport you instantly back in time.  Kinda like a a touchstone.  Thanks for sharing.

Great story.  That sign should be eventually passed down the family line.

hehe, mic drop for Franken indeed.

I can't find it for the life of me, but another member Dan/Whaleman had hollowed out an entire 750 engine to make a really slick lamp. I'll keep looking for it, it was really cool looking!

 We have a wall display of sacrifices to the gods of speed,  and a metal oil pouring can with a tiki pinstripe design. I'll get a pic.

 Thanks, Chewbacca. I have 3 daughters, so now I'm finishing up the fourth one. And just ran out of copper.
