Nice! I'm pretty envious of anyone with a lit sheltered heated area to work right now.

Last weekend I was working outside in the high 30ºs - low 40ºs and had to knock off when it got dark at 5 and then 4 on Sunday thanks to Daylight Savings Bull#$%* Time. Unless I can figure something out I'll soon have to kiss my bike goodbye until spring. I'd throw up one of those tent shed things, but pretty sure my landlord would not go for that.

Around here if you had a wood Heater in the carport, it would void your house insurance..

And....without a stack those products of combustion will not be too good for you. Looks like the area is enclosed on 3 sides.

For a warmer carport you should have one with a palm tree in front of it!  ;)  ;D

Would a kerosene heater also void insurance coverage?

Any insurance policy that voids itself due to having or using combustible materials in the garage is one I wouldn't pay one cent for.

A friend who's son was working on his car in the garage using one burned down his house, 3 cars and two bikes and his insurance covered everything. Wasn't a cheap house or car either. Fumes from gasoline ignited and the house burned before they could do anything.

I spent a great deal of effort putting that one together. What I thought would be a quick flip (get it running and sell it) turned into what felt like an MMI final exam  >:(. Pulled the engine four times chasing a profuse oil leak on the top end. It was well sorted when I sold it.  8)
