I use on Red rear axle from SuperSport.  That axle, unlike older Ks with hole in the axle head, is 22mm.  Meaning, I can't get the wheel off unless I carry 22mm wrench in my kit.  Anybody dealt with it?    Solution?  Except adding big, honking wrench to the tool pack?

I use stock Honda wrench on the nut end, early style axle. I never have to hold the opposite end.. that has no nut..
But even if you did need it just make a 5 inch long wrench that fits in tool tray.
 The stock one with add on sleeve , gives quite a lot of leverage..

The problem was, the axle was turning and I had to hold it to get the nut off.  The old style axle was fitted for a screwdriver, smarter IMHO.

The later models came with two stubby wrenches, a 22mm and 24mm:
