Ive been clearing alot of things off my plate to try and really focus on this bike, not to toot my own horn but it really will be a cool bike when done, and im sick of it not being done

Now that a few things have been cleared off my plate I can get back to working on the bike
Still have my CBX to finish and sell my MG......

I am an engineering student again, so most of my time is taken up with school.

Nope, still plugging away.
Bottom end of the motor is next on the list after the chopper is on the road.
I might even bump it in front of the cbx

I hate when I dig this thread up and see how long I have been working on the bike.
Well I am set to finish my Mechanical Engineering degree. Have a constantration on aerospace and a focus on propulsions. So it isnt like I have been sitting on my butt.

Other bikes have come and gone, but I have always kept this one. Learned so much about these and the cool performance parts that are out there for them.

Still have some silly internal parts around to build up a motor, but have changed gears for right now.
Goal is to just get the thing on the road...

So the original stock motor got a coat of paint and some dress up parts.
Unsure on running the RC set up, an ARD, a dyna or just stock yet.

Will get this motor into the frame soon and start getting it wired and plumed to run

Is this the stock displacement motor, or the 900 pistons, etc.?

I absolutely love wrinkle finish!! I am going to try on my head and then polish off the fined edges..ala..Mg..Triumph aftermarket valve cover. I am using Wf on my head light bucket (done), side covers, and speedo case (done).

Jag,

Have you checked the clearance under your CR gas tank? I had finned tappet covers on my K7 motor, but they would not clear my 76 F gas tank. I ended up having to swap from finned to non-finned tappets or there would be contact. With the F frame you have and your CR gas tank, this might not be an issue. Just a heads up.

Well over the holiday weekend some work was done. Not enough to celebrate, but at least the project isn't totally dead.

Took the wheels and some other junk off to get the motor in.

That frame kit made thinks a million times easier too.

Getting everything put back on.

I need to mess with the frame kit just a little so it goes together better, but it is okay for now.

Just clears the tower studs. Motor isn't fully installed so I am not worried.

Back on wheels.

Almost looks like a motorcycle
