I've decided that as I can't fit all 13 bikes (and enough bits to build a few more) in my 20 x 30 garage, and storing some of them in the self storage place is too expensive @ $300 per month, so over Christmas I'm gonna put up a 12 x 12 garden shed on a concrete base so I can store those bikes at home. Hmmnn, I better start looking for a shed.......... ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

10×20 carport would be easy and quick to throw walls on. Just saying.

Good idea mate, if I thought the wife wouldn't flip right out I'd build another 20 x30 garage as (I reckon) there's enough room, but I know that won't happen. A carport could be disguised as a Pagola though, and she'd probably think I was building it for her, until she couldn't move for motorcycles..... ;D

I have ample room under the house but its always a mess. I'm not very organised.
Also I'm not very good at moving bikes around or parking them really close together.
I have a beer fridge, good old stereo and as of last night, a hand me down laptop computer. And my arcade machine.

Why?   Cause you said so? Look,  that other thread was dead for 8 months or so and only got resurrected due to this new thread.
It would have been well and truly tucked away by now.

I've merged this topic with the original "Shop" thread.  We've had this one going for 13 years, and it would be nice to keep all these pictures in one place.  Yes, it's had its lulls where it vanishes for a while, but it always comes back up.

If this bothers anybody you're welcome to PM me directly about it, but lets get back to the shop talk and pictures in this thread.

Since I was the one who killed the other thread, I should probably put up.  Not much has changed since the last time I posted here, but this is my garage today.  I spend pretty much every Sunday hanging out in the garage, tinkering on the bikes, playing guitar and listening to all the weekend NPR shows.  And during MotoGP season this is where my wife and I watch every practice session, qualifying session and race.  Tonight it's Moto3 qualifying and then the race.

Thanks!  I've had a lot of bikes over the years, but these two are the ones I will never sell, or at least not for a really damn good reason.

Actually I should do that mate, I do like the idea of a lean to like that, I've got plenty of room behind my 30 foot long garage, I'll just need to do a fair bit of prep work before I do. My garage is the same colour as yours too, so I can look at that and get inspired to sort out my mess. Great Spring/Summer project. ;D
