Since I was the one who killed the other thread, I should probably put up.  Not much has changed since the last time I posted here, but this is my garage today.  I spend pretty much every Sunday hanging out in the garage, tinkering on the bikes, playing guitar and listening to all the weekend NPR shows.  And during MotoGP season this is where my wife and I watch every practice session, qualifying session and race.  Tonight it's Moto3 qualifying and then the race.
Sir, you must be a brain surgeon.   Thats just to clean.
I wish I could keep mine as good and neat as yours.

All I have is 10'x40' lean to.

You can spot Dorothy's engine  ;D

Actually I should do that mate, I do like the idea of a lean to like that, I've got plenty of room behind my 30 foot long garage, I'll just need to do a fair bit of prep work before I do. My garage is the same colour as yours too, so I can look at that and get inspired to sort out my mess. Great Spring/Summer project. ;D

Keep us posted  ;D

I will be extending part of the shop to cover my sawmill and building a small detached blacksmith shop - it never ends  ;D ;D

Well... this is one of my first post to this forum and I love seeing all the 'shops'.

Moved into a new house last year and it has a 2.5 attached garage and a 2.5 detached garage... which is my shop now.  His and Her's garages makes for a good marriage!
Nice XS750 Yamaha.
I remember riding at 120mph + w/ a stranger for many miles on RT 20 in Ontario,Canada w/ the girlfriend on the back. Smooooth.

A garage for each other sounds like the path to a happy marriage.

OK, bear w/ me. I finally got a cellphone and am trying to figure out how to upload photos from there to here of my garage.
yeah, not yet... :-[
well, I'm currently insulating the walls/ceiling w/ 2 inches of Styrofoam + 4 inches of regular insulation followed by 3/8 free plywood (formerly auto parts boxes). The ceiling is mostly 1/2 plywood that will be attached by hindges for storage access (top/bottom).

Between the septic system failing , refereeing, rebuilding CB500, CB350 twin, CL175 & Kawaski S2....doesn't leave me much time/$.

Gurp,

LOOKS like airplane spars.

Guy i work with tore down a house trailer on some land he bought.
So my roof is 12ft trailer trusses flipped upside down.
I had to flip them bc they are convex on one side flat on the "bottom"
It was free. 15 bucks in gas for a barrowed truck was it. Im up to a total of 55 bucks in my add on. The real cost will come whem i have money for metal for the roof and walls.
This is where im at now.

Gasoline vapors filling the workshop garage and then throw in a heat gun and you will get an expanded workshop, just not the way you want. ;). I always said I want a huge workspace with a nice house attached.

I always said I want a huge workspace with a nice house attached.

Me too David, if I was single I'd love to live in an old gas station/workshop with just a bed/living space/kitchen/bathroom, and a big workshop/parking space for my bikes. I did ask my wife if we could get divorced, but she said no.......... ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Or a huge pole building with a dedicated living area.  I've a friend who only works on Rolls Royce with that type of living condition--he and his wife love it....Larry

Only for 7 weeks , but I will take it..
No shop space since 2016, working in the driveway and once in a while in the garage, bikes out in the
 snow.. they hate it.
Here it is my old shop I was in 12 years ago.

Yes I was telling my wife the other day,”once kids are grown and settled on their own, we should buy a garage with two attached bedrooms”.

Nice 550 Gordon, 750 too. I like 550s.

Thanks!  I've had a lot of bikes over the years, but these two are the ones I will never sell, or at least not for a really damn good reason.

     Nice, Gordon.
