I picked up a pellet stove a couple nights ago, it's a 65,000 btu big stove with a 3 bag hopper(120 lbs) so it should last a few days to a week at 50 degrees setting if I don't get up there every day(work gets in the way of playing still)
I borrowed a 4" carbide hole saw with a SDS drill for the vent hole in the block wall and got it hooked up late yesterday, then fired it up before I left last night. It puts out some serious heat on high. Left it set at 60 degrees, it has a thermostat setting.
I'll find out how it does tomorrow as it's supposed to drop from the high of 48 today with lots of rain with this high wind storm followed up by a flash freeze to a low of 10 degrees tonight and Saturday night, 21 degrees F for a high tomorrow, Sunday 26 and not so white a Christmas though there may be some more snow tonight during the freeze drop at the end of the precipitation changeover..... Hopefully the power doesn't get knocked out.
