...and it's killing me not having my bike on the road yet. It's still cold, but I want to ride anyway!!

A few sunday's ago, shaking down the new tank (post toilet cleaner).  Ran like a top, but I forgot how cold you could get after 75 miles without a fairing on a 40 degree day.  I'm not posting any close-ups until I get the original 4-piper exhaust I scored on Ebay mounted 8) but it sure felt good to warm up and stare at my handywork.

This is one of my favorite areas of SOHC4, I just wish there were a few more of us here in NZ.
Road trip Scunny, Phil?
Maybe next Summer eh, I'd love to do the coast of Aussie and through USA, not sure about being on the wrong (right) side of the road though. ;D
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

The first couple of pictures is me getting my bike running that was sitting in an airplane hangar for almost 20 years.  I started working on that bike the night before I was to take it on a 1500 mile roadtrip.  I replaced the tires, points, and brakes as well as rebuilt the carbs all in one night. I couldn't believe that I actually got it going in time to head out. The third picture was taken on top of a pass near Sandpoint ID. You can see the haze in the air from the forest fires that were burning just across the border. I wish I would have taken more pictures of the actual bike during that trip, but I only managed to get a couple.
